10:48 am - The Proposal
Well, things went well on February 29th. We drove around the Shelby, Hart, New Era area for about two hours until I couldn't take it anymore and headed up to the ranch. Gave the great line of "Well, I need to stop here to pick something up for my sister". She bought the line and then she heard the guy say the ride wasn't going to be ready for about 15 minutes. She was thrilled to go on the sleigh ride. It was so cute seeing her so excited. I'm taking it that we are going to be the last ones going on a sleigh ride this year, as all of the snow was melting away. Anyways, we get about halfway through the ride when the guy is like "so, do you want me to take a picture of you two?" and I'm like "sure, oh crap... I forgot the camera"... Then he's like "Well, it's kind of getting difficult out here, let me go on ahead and see the best way to go. Pam believed that and we watched him walk away for a little bit. Then, I got down on one knee and was like "You mean the world to me, I can't imagine life without you, will you do the honor of marrying me?"(not the exact words, but thats the meaning). And she said yes. Then we had the thrilling sleigh ride back. Almost lost it a couple of times. Thought I was going to end up in the water and such. It was enjoyable.
*edit* This is Pam, he left out one important thing. He cried when he asked me to marry him. He is so precious!! It was the happiest day of my life.*end edit*
